I’ve seen quite a few people run into the “Failed to personalize the software update” error when updating macOS.
You can back up your Mac with Time Machine, then erase your Mac completely and run all the updates again. Finally, restore from your Time Machine backup.
Some people report that this could be a hardware issue and the problem may persist with future macOS updates. So if your Mac is still under warranty, take it to the Genius Bar as soon as possible.

i bought it in 2022 so yea no warranty sadly but the m2 pro shouldnt cause issues already
