Apple has released iOS 26.2 Beta 2 to developers today, with the official public release confirmed for mid-December. This update makes the menu animation smoother, brings Liquid Glass to the Measure app, and more. Let’s take a look at what’s new below.
If you missed last week’s iOS 26.2 Beta 1 release, check out the post here: What’s New in iOS 26.2 Beta 1?
Build: 23C5027f → 23C5033h
Released: November 12, 2025
Measure App
The Measure app in iOS 26.2 Beta 2 has updated the Level tool with Liquid Glass. Now, when you tilt your iPhone or place it horizontally, a chromatic aberration effect appears as the level indicator crosses the horizon line.
Menu Animation
iOS 26.2 Beta 2 also makes the menu animation smoother, looking closer to what Apple showcased at WWDC25.
CarPlay
There’s a new Pinned Conversations toggle in CarPlay settings that lets you hide pinned threads in Messages. In iOS 26.1 and earlier, CarPlay always mirrored the pinned conversations from your iPhone, but this option turns the Messages app into a simple list of conversation threads.

Games App
The Games app has received several updates, including category and size filters in the Library tab, controller navigation support, and real-time challenge score tracking during playback.
Notifications Center
The “Show Less” and “Clear All Notifications” buttons have now been updated with Liquid Glass.
Reminders
iOS 26.2 Beta 1 introduced the ability to set alarms directly in the Reminders app, and Beta 2 adds a splash screen when you open the app for the first time to highlight this new option.
Silent Mode
On iPhones without Dynamic Island, the Silent Mode indicator now features Liquid Glass.
