ah okay, never saw it ty tho
I was asking you if you have more devices or apps running since they also help raise your temperature but if it’s just the Apple Watch it doesn’t make any sense for it to raise your temperature, unless it’s creating the new indexing. Reconstruction takes a long time and you could notice the temperature rise. That was just the reason for my question.
iTunes Store changed as well, it’s more purple
Can confirm. I also noticed the Remote icon is now solid gray rather than a gradient.
I don’t really know if it’s a update in Beta 1 or Beta 2 but I found something new:
Wi-Fi Settings
If you are connected to your Car’s Wi-Fi with CarPlay support, it now shows the CarPlay icon
the other Wi-Fi names are not near my home…
… so you can’t find me
I don’t have CarPlay to test whether it’s been there since Beta 1 or if it was added in Beta 2, but thanks for sharing!
Yep, it’s been there since Beta 1.
This feature was actually introduced in iOS 27. Beta 2 only tweaks the icon and slightly updates the settings page. I’ve added those changes to the end of the first post.
I’ve been working with IOS 27 beta 2 and other Apple systems for a few weeks now, and I’ve found that there are many functions that have been fixed (with respect to beta 1) but many more bugs have appeared since Airdrop on Apple TV+ to the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11 link, let’s solve a few bugs, but they generate as many others and these last quite annoying, they occur while some app or device is in process (all this on my devices, practically on all of them, and I notice a certain lag on iPhone, but I assume these “problems” since I install betas (all the failures and errors have been sent to Apple through feedback), I hope and wish that the next beta will be more refined and synchronized with all devices and that information and processes flow correctly. language and region where it is processed on all my Apple devices is Spanish, Spain (and of course without Siri AI
)
iOS 27 Developer Beta 3 will likely be very close to iOS 27 Public Beta 1, which is expected to be released this month. Because of that, I think Beta 3 will be the most stable build so far, with fewer bugs than Beta 1 or Beta 2. Overall, though, I think the iOS 27 beta has been much more stable than the iOS 26 beta.
I hope so, although at first I noticed it very fluid and consistent, for a few days I have had a lot of bugs, lags and the OS is not very fluid, I think it is due to the dev’s code lines that make them for control, and on that side there are a lot of memory leaks and the devices are saturated and that is why I think it is quite green and needs polishing, but… it is the price to pay for trying the latest is software, jejejejejejejejejeje, the beta testers are a bit reckless, ![]()

I reset my iPhone 17 Pro Max, which had iOS 27 Beta 2 installed.
While resetting the device and setting it up from scratch—and installing apps—I noticed this.
Has the indexing progress indicator changed like this?
That’s right and it usually takes a long time to index, I managed to reduce the time by leaving it plugged in at night with wifi and putting a non-disturb mode so that indexing was faster, in the morning it was finished!
