iOS26.4 RC - missing the new features...

Hi. I ‘m on the developer betas for iOS 26.4 and after downloading, I am missing the new features i.e no Playlist Playground or new emoji.

I’m in the UK. Has anyone else had this problem of missing features?

If so, I’d love to know how it was fixed.

Playlist Playground is currently only available to Apple Music subscribers in the US in iOS 26.4 RC.

Do you see the emojis below? If so, you can simply search for them using the emoji keyboard, for example Distorted Face, Trombone, and more.

No new emoji at all.

It’s very likely you’re using an older version of the iOS 26.4 beta, possibly Beta 2 or Beta 3. Go to Settings → General → Software Update and make sure you have the latest beta. If you’re on the iOS 26.4 Public Beta, switch to the Developer Beta.

To check your current iOS version, go to Settings → General → About → iOS Version, then tap the version name to reveal the build number. The latest build is iOS 26.4 RC (23E244).

Just checked - the build number showing is the latest build - 23E244. But no new features. I’ve tried changing from Developer Beta to Public Beta but still missing these features.

Then just wait for the iOS 26.4 update coming next week and see if the new emojis show up on your iPhone. Keep in mind that Playlist Playground is currently only available in the US.
