I may have made a post about this, I can’t remember. But, the issue I have right now, with my iPhone 15, on iOS 18.5 (stable), is that I can’t update OTA. I remember that I messed around with OTA Disabler on Nugget a long time ago, and since then, I have had to update via iTunes. Today, I decided I’ve had enough, so I factory reset my phone, and restored an iCloud backup, thinking that would fix the issue. But, for some reason, it still doesn’t work. Why? How can I fix this without losing my data?
It looks like you’ll need to use Nugget to undo the changes you made, since modifications made through Nugget are included in your backup. So if you restore your data, you’re also restoring Nugget’s edits.
And yes, you did post something similar last year.
Feel free to try. I’m currently on iOS 26 beta 1 and I also can’t check for OTA updates. It seems to be a bug, both of my devices are unable to check for updates at the moment.
